This project was a performative installation where the viewer was invited to pose as the artist in a generic bachelors of fine arts thesis exhibition. the viewers were photographed and given the documentation of the show along with a personalized diploma from our institution. This project was shown as a final project for a metal foundry course in which we were often prompted to make just to make. This institutional critique was form as a reaction to the culture of the craft arm of the school where making and not thinking/planning was taught.
The documentation of this project has sadly been lost to the nature of digital storage. All that remains are the files for the diplomas. may it serve as a reminder to be sure to have multiple back ups.
